Description The backing plate is is designed to replace the original tray stand for flex XC 3401 VRG. It enables you to use 5 inch and 5.5 inch pads (pads) with your flex Polisher. Created by flex especially for this polisher, the 4 inch backing plate features a "design with gear that provides a true dual-action movement. The OEM Flex Backing Plate is designed to reduce vibration as well as giving even movement and grinding. The backing plate is made from durable moulded plastic with a urethane material to absorb the vibration and heat. Hooks and fleecy cover the base of the backing plate from edge to edge. Change in the backing plate 1. Hold the black locking push button on the top of your Flex machine to prevent backing plate of wiring. 2. Once locked, loosen and remove the screws. 3. Pick up the backing plate in place, away from the wheels 4. Set the new backing – Plate, Vertical, ensuring that it is aligned properly with the slot in the backing plate. 5. Gently tighten the screws. 6. Press the locking clip Black and tighten the screw.
