Alexander Amarolo is produced by Alexander winery, founded by winemaker Yoram Shalom in Tel-Aviv in 1996, and was relocated to Beit Yitzhak, a Moshav in Hefer Valley. Dry wine. The special blend is composed of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot,6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Shiraz, and 3% Grenache grapes. The grapes in Alexander Amarolo were dried on mats for 70 days, using a special process under a special process under low temperature supervision (Italian Amarone style). The wine was aged for 40 months in a combination of new and old oak barrels.

A full bodied wine, with concentrated aromas of very ripe fruit and strong tannins, offering rich and diverse tastes on the palate

Best served with brie cheese and rich dark chocolate.
