D-Link DEM-CB300S Twin axial 3m 10GbE Direct Attach Passive SFP+ to SFP+ Cable. The DEM-CB300S is a 3 m 10 GbE Direct Attach Copper (DAC) SFP+ Cable. It is compatible with all D-Link 10 GbE switch products including DGS-3420 and DGS-3620 managed switches, DGS-6604 and DGS-6608 chassis switches and DXS-3600-16S and DXS-3600-32S 10 GbE aggregation switches.

Key Features

Designed to support connections for 10Gbps Gigabit Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet switches with 10Gbps Gigabit Ethernet uplink, much more faster than SFP which only supports 2.5Gbps Gigabit Ethernet

Uses enhanced Small Form-factor Pluggable format (SFP+) connectors; the SFP+ form factor is smaller than other form factors such as Xenpak, X2 and 10G XFP, resulting in lower costs

Features SFP+ connectors on both ends, thus eliminating the need for expensive SFP+ transceivers; this makes it more cost-effective than fibre cables which must use SFP+ transceivers

It is an optimal solution for handling high bandwidth transmission within short distances such as inside energy-efficient data centres

lower power disruption and higher port density; meanwhile SFP+ connectors use the same space-per-port as standard SFP connectors but support higher data transmission speeds
