HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is stronger than LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and resists moisture and certain chemicals. This dome top is designed to snap securely onto the garbage can and has a spring-action door that closes shut when released. An ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer minimizes fading and discoloring.
