Description

This tester is used to check the connectors of a graphics card with a motherboard for open circuits/short circuits or ground. The test is performed immediately visually using an LED plate. Procedure: First, pay attention to possible fire marks or obvious "breaks" on the board of the graphics card, Insert the graphics card into the correct slot, PCI Express or AGP (no confusion possible, as the coding pins prevent a card from being inserted into a slot that is not suitable for them), Power the test plate with the supplied 12V power supply and press the switch (switch) on the top left of the board: the LEDs light up, When all LEDs are on, the communication of the card with the motherboard is functional, If one or more LEDs are off, you will find the LED(s) by means of the signs next to them (e.g. a letter combination such as "ac" or "aa"), and turn the test plate over. On the back of the plate, the solder joints corresponding to the contacts on the graphics card are marked with the same symbols: how to find the corresponding contact(s).

Add a 12V power supply to the tester, plug the error card into the corresponding slot, press the pressure switch in the upper right corner, the corresponding indicator on the tester should light up, if it is not turned on or flashes, the brightness changes significantly, or caused by the open circuit or short circuit of the CPU main chip, use the universal meter to further determine the error point
