Description

The main elements hydrogen carbonate (HCO3), calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) significantly affect the water stability (pH value, alkalinity / carbonate hardness) in the reef aquarium. The KH / alkalinity should be between KH 7 and KH 9 °dH in the saltwater aquarium and is crucial for the buffer capacity in the sea water. KH+ liquid reliably increases carbonate hardness and buffs the pH value in the saltwater aquarium. Carbonates are constantly consumed by many limescaling organs such as stone corals, shells, lime-tube worms, various lime-red algae and biogenic descaling. High pH fluctuations and an undersupply of all calcium forming organisms are prevented by regular addition. Also contains the trace element potassium.
