Product Description Kelo-Cote is a silicone-based scar gel specifically designed to smooth, soften, and flatten hypertrophic and keloid scars. It effectively helps reduce redness, discolouration, and discomfort, such as itching that is associated with these scars. The fast-drying formula forms a transparent, breathable, and water-resistant layer in under 5 minutes, providing 24-hour protection with just two daily applications. Suitable for use under makeup, Kelo-Cote can also be applied to raised acne scars on healed skin. Available in 6g, 15g, 30g, and 60g sizes, the appropriate quantity depends on the scar size. Indications Kelo-Cote advanced Formula Scar Gel is intended for the management of old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from general surgical procedures, trauma, wounds and burns. Kelo-Cote is suitable for use on children and people with sensitive skin. Ingredients Polysiloxanes, Silicon Dioxide Directions Ensure affected area is clean and dry, apply Kelo-Cote to the area as a very thin layer and allow to dry, apply twice daily. For Maximum effect, Kelo-Cote Gel should have 24 hour contact with the skin. Once dry Kelo-Cote can be covered with pressure garments, sun block or cosmetics. If Kelo-Cote has not dried within 4-5 minutes, you have probably used too much. Gently remove the excess and allow the drying process to continue. Recommended minimum treatment time is 60-90 days. Larger and older scars may take longer and continued use is recommended if improvement is still seen after initial 90 days. Tips for drying: Kelo-Cote's drying process is assisted by the temperature difference between the gel and the skin. To reduce drying time in hotter climates, keep Kelo-Cote in the refrigerator.
