Liquitex offers the widest range of mediums to inspire creativity in all phases of the painter's artistic process. Liquitex gel mediums bring body to the most fluid paints for impasto techniques and also increase color volume and add transparency. Gels tend to dry slower than more fluid layers of paint, allowing you to enjoy more working time. Gel mediums can modify acrylic paints in a number of ways and, considering that they contain acrylic resins, they tend to improve adhesion and durability. Liquitex gel mediums can add texture, improve color and increase transparency of the work. Liquitex Medium Super Thick Gloss Gel is extremely thick, the densest consistency "clear" gel. High density with high surface strength resulting in a rigid "oil-like" appearance.
