Since the distances between tyres and wheel housings lead to a situation where most standard snow chains can no longer be fitted to many types of vehicle. The Spikes-Spider Compact is also easy to fit to narrow wheel housings and is therefore for many vehicles the only alternative to safely survive the winter. In addition, due to the unique construction of the Spikes-Spider Compact, all wear and tear components can be individually replaced as necessary without any problems. The concept of the Spikes-Spider Compact fulfils the requirements for snow chains worldwide and has proven itself millions of times. The use of more and more high-quality materials, as well as the new design of the spikes and the plastic claws increase the load transfer when braking or accelerating on ice and snow. The highlight: Patented pivot bearings make it easier to adjust to different tyre sizes meaning the Compact, with it's four different sizes, covers all standard car tyres. Every Spike-Spider model is significantly more long-lasting than standard snow chains.
