It is constructed of 7 elements in 5 groups and with Nikon's Integrated Coating (IC) you will see improved color and reduced flare. It is the world's first teleconverter to incorporate an aspherical lens element, which virtually eliminates lens aberrations or ghosting, and is dust and water resistant - as a result producing images with outstanding resolution and contrast. the advanced design maintains the optical quality of NIKKOR lenses as well as fully supports exposure metering and VR image stabilization capabilities.The Nikon TC-20E AF-S Teleconverter III is both compact and lightweight, with a durable, weather-resistant barrel to support use in harsh conditions, making it a cost-effective and practical solution for those times when it is not possible or desirable to carry an extra telephoto lens with you.
