Look back forward: the London dance duo with guests such as Bryan Ferry. With "Black Light," a long-awaited musical sign of life appears from Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, better known as Groove Armada. "We needed a new challenge," explains Cato. "Bands such as Friendly Fires, Klaxons, Passion Pit and MGMT are currently very far ahead when it comes to dance. This sound has made us curious about artists like Bowie, Fleetwood Mac and Roxy Music again." So it is no wonder that the twelve tracks with collaborations with among others Will Young, Fenech Soler, Jess Larrabee, Nick Littlemore (Empire Of The Sun/PNAU) and even Mr. Bryan Ferry. The latter can be heard on "Shameless" for the first time ever as a guest voice. So many things are different on "Black Light," or as Findlay says, "Even people who hated everything we've done so far will love this record." And the rest like the two anyway.
