The Shadow SH RB-PRO is a professional double bass pickup and preamp system designed for upright bass players who need powerful amplified tone with maximum control. Developed in collaboration with renowned Rockabilly bassist Didi Beck, the RB-PRO is ideal for rockabilly, slap bass, jazz, blues and acoustic performance styles. This complete upright bass pickup system includes two dedicated pickups: a bridge pickup for rich low-end bass response and a separate slap pickup mounted beneath the fingerboard for enhanced percussive attack and clarity. Independent controls allow precise sound shaping for both channels. The advanced onboard preamp features gain, bass, mid, presence, treble and subsonic filter controls, helping players achieve professional live and studio sound. A built-in chromatic tuner provides fast and accurate tuning, while mono and dual-channel output options offer flexible amplifier connectivity.
