The Softie Elite Range is the next step in Sleeping bag evolution. Designed and tested by military personnel to have the versatility to tackle any adventure head-on. Equipped with Snugpak's Expanda Panel System the Elite Range can command temperature and comfort by transforming from a warm, snug sleeping bag into a cool, spacious one. This management allows your bag flexibility to operate in multiple scenarios confidently. In addition, shortening clips allow the bag to compress by 30cm, improving its thermal characteristics due to a decrease in the amount of air inside of the bag. When shortening the bag, fold the bottom underneath the rest of the bag and then attach the clips, this allows extra insulation to be between your feet and the ground, resulting in greater comfort. Combined with some of Snugpak's pioneering fabrics and insulation, the Elite Range guarantees comfort on the most blistering of adventures. PARATEX MICRO (Outer Fabric) - The most robust sleeping bag fabric Snugpak has available. Constructed with compacted fibres, Paratex Micro is hard wearing, lightweight, windproof and water repellent, all while still soft to the touch. PARATEX LIGHT (Inner Fabric) - A breathable, high-performance fabric, which is designed to wick moisture away from a source efficiently. The decrease in fibres compared to Paratex Micro allows for excellent breathability and weight reduction. REFLECTATHERM (Insulation) - Space age heat reflective fabric used in only a handful of our sleeping bags. Composed of premium metallised fabric, Reflectatherm is designed to retain heat and warmth by reflecting heat back into the bag. SOFTIE (Insulation) - Swiss insulation, exclusive to Snugpak products. It utilises superfine staple yarns which replicate the compositions of natural insulations and is then bound with specific resins to produce a luxurious down like feel
