The Starrett 700M series internal groove Vernier inside micrometre has calliper-type jaws and a Vernier scale in inch units for taking precise inside dimension (ID) measurements. The micrometre is made of high-grade tool steel, with hardened and ground jaws for accuracy. A knurled friction thimble helps provide quick adjustment capability. The Vernier scale is graduated to 0.01mm and a locking clamp helps hold measurements in place. The micrometre has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish.
