TechniSat GIGASYSTEM 17/8 K Multiswitch Cascade for 8 Additional Participants, 4 Orbit Positions

The GigaSystem 17/8 is designed to set up a distribution system with which the signals from up to four satellite positions can be distributed to up to eight subscribers. Basic unit The basic unit 17/8G has a total of 17 inputs. 16 of these are satellite IF inputs, which can accommodate the signal strands of up to four Quatro LNBs. Each Quatro LNB has four outputs, each with a certain frequency range depending on the polarisation plane (a so-called satellite block). An input is available on the multi-switch for each of these signal strings. Maximum 16 inputs can be assigned with satellite signals. The seventeenth input, on the other hand, serves to feed terrestrial antenna signals. As with all high-quality multi-switches, the input signals are processed clearly separately from each other and with a so-called Reinforced inclination. The gain is the greater the frequency of the signal. This compensates for the stronger attenuation of the higher frequencies in the cable. cascade The 17/8 K cascade in combination with the basic unit 17/8 G allows signal distribution to more than eight subscribers. The cascading module can either be docked directly to the base unit or integrated into the distribution system at some distance from it. The power supply for the cascaded multi-switch as well as for all connected LNBs is taken over by the basic device. The base unit of the GigaSystem can supply up to four cascades with voltage. Power supply. The basic unit has a high-quality, efficient switch power supply that can supply voltage not only to the basic unit itself, but also up to four cascades and all connected LNBs. Expandability The GigaSystem 17/8 can be further expanded using suitable components, so that even large networks with up to a few hundred participants can be realized.
