Technicians can adjust the width, texture, and height of the bead by turning the nozzle and adjusting air pressure during application. The slot size, coupled with the viscosity of compatible 3M � Seam Sealers allows for better replication of OEM seam sealer appearances. The Ripple Tip can replicate multiple textures like a caterpillar and lasagna bead to aid technicians to quickly match OEM seams on lower ¼ panel extensions, floors, body panel, frame rails, fire walls, strut towers, and floor panel 3M � OEM Match Ripple Tip helps technicians replicate the appearance of OEM seam sealers that were robotically-applied at the factory. Used with 1-part seam sealers, the tip can make this challenging and time-consuming work faster and easier. Carmakers often require collision repair technicians to replicate the original look and appearance of the factory-applied seam sealer. Replicating the robotically applied seam sealer can be challenging and time-consuming.
