Lines that do not run through the centre of the image are thus reproduced strongly curved. Due to this fixed angle/area relationship, it is ideal for technical applications and measuring purposes. However, it plays its strength in panoramic photography. With just 3 shots, it opens up a 360° spherical panorama. Thanks to the high light intensity, even shooting in poorer lighting conditions is no problem. The use of SLD (special low dispersion) glass ensures excellent image quality and the SML (Super Multi Layer) coating prevents reflections and ghosting.
