Featuring a twin-position cutter system, the 778 allows for versatile use - with the blade centrally mounted for general rebate work or moved forward for detailed bullnose trimming right into corners. A fine screw adjuster enables precise depth control, while the adjustable spur provides clean results when working across the grain. Supported by a double-sided adjustable fence and fitted depth stop, the plane ensures reliable, repeatable cuts up to 38mm wide. The fence can be mounted on either side of the plane for left or right-handed work, increasing flexibility on site or in the workshop. Ideal for detailed cabinetry, door fitting, shoulder work and traditional joinery, this rebate plane is presented in a hinged wooden box for safe storage and transportation.
