This leader is designed for the hard hitting big game species like tuna, sharks or barracuda in salt water conditions. If you have ever had your line cut with a light duty leader by ferocious teeth of sharks, tuna or barracuda, you know how important it is to have a quality leader that can take abuse and not break down.
