The versatile Celestron 8-24mm Zoom Eyepiece is a premium, fully multi-coated 1.25" eyepiece that allows you to dial in the power you want. The 8-24 Zoom Eyepiece is easy to adjust to four different focal lengths, each providing a different magnification level—8mm, 12mm, 18mm, and 24mm. Simply grip the rubberized barrel and turn it slowly as you look through the eyepiece. Start with the lowest magnification (24mm) to locate objects quickly and center them in your telescope’s field of view. Then increase the power for an up-close look. Zoom eyepieces save you money and time by allowing you to examine objects at various magnifications without purchasing and swapping out multiple eyepieces. The folding eyecup is great for observing with or without glasses. The field of view (40 - 60°) works well for land-based viewing as well as studying the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects.
