The lid handle of this ceramic roaster allows easy one-handed operation. The roaster can be cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher.
The principle of the natural clay roaster is relatively simple. Fine pores in the clay of the lid absorb water when watered, which creates a layer of haze when heated. As a result, the food does not dry out and remains juicy.
