The strong, two-layer Mylar® films from REMO Emperor® produce a voluminous and warm tone with strong projection. Due to their construction, they are particularly stable and durable. In the 1950s, the rock 'n' roll came and with the first REMO® skins could be played more loudly than ever. But the development continued, guitar amps became bigger and drummers wanted to play even harder and even louder. It was time for the next innovation and so the Californian innovators constructed the first double-layered drum head. REMO® Emperor® skins are ideal for medium to loud playing styles live and in the studio. They go particularly well with musical styles such as pop, funk, rock and heavy rock, and are among the best marching drum heads in the world.
