Product Description A510 short drill is part of Dormer’s ADX range of drills and is designed for high performance drilling. It has a 130 degree thinned point which both helps with self-centring so the hole is exactly where you want it, and also means less force is needed to drive the drill through the work piece material. The titanium nitride coating gives you a better tool life and also improves performance when drilling harder materials. The drill has specially shaped cutting edges which break the work piece material into smaller chips which are more easily removed from the hole. This, in turn, means you can use higher speeds and feeds to drill the hole – increasing your productivity. Available in a wide range of both metric and fractional sizes, the A510 is manufactured from premium High Speed steel and can be used for drilling many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium. The A510 high performance drill is capable of producing good quality and accurate holes (to H9 hole tolerance) even at high speeds and feeds.
