Description

Two masters of music combine to produce the richest blend of electronica, nu-jazz and world music. a 21st Century amalgum , "without a hint of cliche in sight" the Guardian. Any collaboration between thse two would be newsworthy but this is little short of revolutionary. Once again setting the standard for others to follow, Miles_Gurtu render the potential of man-machine interplay on a deeply intuitive aad profoudnly new musical level. The depth, breadth, attention to detail and sheer vibe is so much in abundance on this release. A truly ground breaking and genre busting classic... Review 'And its a real grower, with grooves sounds and atmospheres that get right under your skin'. -- The Guardian Friday 20 February 2004 'Miles_Gurtu sizzles with the synergy between the leaders keyboards and Gurtu's grooves'. -- Jazzwise March 2004 'music with focus and brains' -- The Independent Sunday 22nd February 'this airy blend of keyboard atmospherics and percussion polyrhythms sounds new and remarkable'. -- The Times 'EYE' Saturday February 21st avant-garde jazz. -- Songlines intelligent electronica with live-improv input -- Evening Standard strange and extraordinary album. Musical cross-fertilisation, done right, is a terrific idea, and this shimmying, funking album proves it. -- Metro
