Description

Date Selection practitioners, specialists, and students will finally breathe a sigh of relief when they encounter this compendium! Compiling and streamlining all the information from important classical Date Selection sources such as The Tome of Heaven and Earth (Qian Kun Bao Dian), The Heavenly Precious Calendar (Tian Bao Li) and most significantly of all, The Book of Unifying Times and Discerning Dimensions (Xie Ji Bian Fang Shu), this book will make Date Selection research and study that much easier. An integral and important part of Chinese Metaphysics, Date Selection has largely been overlooked in importance due to the vast amount of resources available on the subject. The compendium attempts to summarise and unify all this information in a clear and understandable format and presents it within organised, systematic tables and charts. This is the first reference book of its kind to attempt to tabulate all the Stars relating to all the Jia Zi (Year Pillar), specifically the Directional Stars, Location-based Stars, and the Year-Based Stars (Positional Stars). Its benefits are multi-purpose and varied, and can be applied to all systems of Feng Shui (including San He, San Yuan, Xuan Kong), all systems of BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) including the Shen Sha systems and structural systems, Purple Star Astrology, and many other forms of Chinese Metaphysics. The highlight of this vast and comprehensive compendium is that you'll be able to refer to every Star that is associated with a particular Jia Zi (Year Pillar), and hence have at your fingertips the 60 Jia Zi Annual Stars. Some of these include: Annual Positive Stars for every Jia Zi (Year Pillar); Annual Negative Stars for every Jia Zi (Year Pillar); Annual San Yuan Purple White Stars; Monthly Purple White Stars; Mountain Covering Yellow Path Stars; Heaven Penetrating Force Stars; Qi Men Three Nobles Stars; Plenty more, including the 12-Month Auxiliary Stars Reference Table. Just like the other books in Joey Yap's Chinese Metaphysics Reference Series, this book presents all the key technical phrases and names in both English and Chinese. This is designed to facilitate students, practitioners and teachers in their study, research, practice and teaching of Chinese Metaphysics in its original form.
