He finished M.B.B.S. with distinction and four gold medals. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology. During his post-graduation, he has been extremely passionate about teaching and research. The editor has been actively involved in the conduction of ethics committee meetings. He has published research articles and reviews in indexed journals and acted as a resource person/ faculty and organizing committee member of various academic programs including conferences, workshops and CMEs. He has been the Clinical Pharmacologist in-charge of the Madurai region of Apollo Hospitals where he had developed Antibiotic Stewardship programs and took charge of the medication management. Dr. Nishanthi Anandabaskar has finished her M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Pharmacology from JIPMER, Puducherry.  Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pharmacology, Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital (SMVMCH), Puducherry, India.
