The book is written by international experts who have invented and pioneered the newer hernia procedures. Hernia surgery has evolved at a tremendous pace in the last decade. In the last decade, there has been a proliferation of more than 20 procedures in hernia repair, and they offer advantages compared to the older procedures in various clinical situations.
