This book systematically describes the design and synthesis of MOF-related materials and the electrochemical energy storage-related research in the field of batteries. This is followed by highlighting the interesting examples for electrochemical applications, illustrating recent advances in battery, supercapacitor, and water splitting. This book is interesting and useful to a wide readership in the various fields of chemical science, materials science, and engineering. About the Author Huan Pang received his Ph.D. from Nanjing University in 2011 and is currently University Distinguished Professor at Yangzhou University and Chinese Ministry of Education Young Changjiang Scholar. His group has been engaged in the design and synthesis of functional nanomaterials, especially MOF-based materials. He has published more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals such as chemical society reviews, advanced materials, and energy & environmental science. He is Member of the editorial board of FlatChem and Rare Metals, Young Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Inorganic Chemistry and Chinese Chemical letters, and Managing Editor of EnergyChem. His research interests include the development of inorganic nanostructures and their applications in nanoelectrochemistry, with a focus on energy devices.
