Product Description This book focuses on assessing China’s international environment in the Indian Ocean including political, economic and secure environments through examining the characteristics of the international environment in the Indian Ocean. About the Author Dr. Zhu Cuiping is Professor and Director of Research Institute for Indian Ocean Economies (RIIO), Yunnan University of Finance and Economics (YUFE), Kunming, China. She is Editor-in-Chief of INDIAN OCEAN ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL REVIEW and Editor-in-Chief of ANNUAL REPORT ON DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDIAN OCEAN REGION. In recent years, Prof. Zhu Cuiping focuses on the studies of Indian Ocean issues, South Asia and Sino-Indian Relations. She published three books named “India’s Ocean: Can China and India Co-exist?” (English, Springer Press, 2018), “Indian Ocean and China (Social Sciences Academic Press, 2014)” and “Institutional Analysis on Economic Growth” (Economic Science Press, 2010) as well as one translation book named “Modi’s World―Expanding India’s Sphere of Influence” written by C. Raja Mohan (2016).
