(2002) and Ph.D. (2009) degrees from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels at various premier institutions. He has published more than 75 research papers, book chapters in national/international conference proceedings, books and journals. He has authored three books with Springer Nature Singapore and also published five patents at the Indian Patent Office, Mumbai. His research interests include sliding mode controls, networked control systems, multi-agent systems and control of smart grids/microgrids. Dr. Mehta received the Pedagogical Innovation Award from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in 2014, Dewang Mehta National Education Award (Regional) for Best Professor in Electrical Engineering in 2018. He is a senior member of the IEEE, member of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) and Control System Society (CSS) and life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Institute of Engineers India (IEI), Systems Society of India (SSI) and Society of Power Engineers (SPE).   Abhishek Rawat received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2001), from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal. He received his Master of Technology (2006) and Ph.D. (2012) from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He has 16 years of research, academic and professional experience in the different premier institutions.
