About the Author Hari Vasudevan is Principal, Professor and Head of the Department of Production Engineering at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai, India. He completed his Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, his M.E. in Production Engineering at VJTI and B.E. from GIT, Karnatak University, India. His areas of specialization are manufacturing engineering, manufacturing systems & strategy, market orientation of manufacturing firms and world class manufacturing. Dr. Vasudevan has published 35 journal papers, 43 conference papers, 3 book chapters and 1 book. K. N. Vijaya Kumar is a Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi Collegeof Engineering, Mumbai, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Mumbai University (2008), M.E. in Machine Design at SPCE, Mumbai (2001), M.E. in Management from SJCE Mysore (1990) and B.E. (Mech.), P.D.A. College of Engineering, Gulbarga (1987). His areas of specialization are total quality management (TQM), world class manufacturing (WCM), research methodology (RM), and the design of experiments (DOE). He has 26 years of teaching experience in respected engineering colleges at the Universities of Mumbai and Pune. Dr. Kumar has published papers in national and international journals and conferences. Amool A. Raina completed his Ph.D. and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, India in 2007. He is currently heading the Aerospace group at RWTH – Institute for Textile Technology, Aachen, Germany. He is responsible for developing aerospace applications and negotiating and managing aerospace, automotive and composite application projects. Dr. Raina has published numerous papers in international journals.
