He was selected as a Hong Kong Scholar in China in 2013, and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2013 to 2015. He was also a short-term Visiting Scholar at Tsinghua University and Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen Graduate School).
