This monograph critically examines the fundamental effects of hydrodynamic and vibration load formation on the modern power unit of the VVER-1200 nuclear power plant, which is originally designed in Russia, as well as the causes and main sources of vibration in the main circulation loop and their energy contribution. Practical examples are used to explain how vibration stress can be reduced and the hydrodynamic status of the circuit improved. Current research on the vibroacoustics of some non-Russion nuclear reactors is also included. About the Author Gennadiy R Arkadov, specialist in diagnostics of reactor facilities, PhD in Engineering Sciences (Nuclear Technology), PhD in Economics. Experience in the nuclear industry is 30 years, worked at JSC ""VNIIAES"" (the Russian Research Institute for the Operation of Nuclear Power Plants), occupying positions from an engineer to the General Director. Currently, Vice-President of the Russian society of system engineering. The author of more than 110 scientific papers, co-author of 3 monographs on the diagnosis of reactor plants.Vladimir I Pavelko, specialist in diagnostics of reactor facilities, PhD in Engineering Sciences (Nuclear Technology), worked at the Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, occupying positions ― the Head of the Laboratory of Diagnostic Methods of Reactor Facilities. Currently, the Deputy General Director for research of the Joint Stock Company ""Scientific Technical Center Diaprom"". The author of more than 128 scientific papers, co-author of 3 monographs on the diagnosis of reactor plants, has 12 copyright certificates and 4 patents for inventions.Mikhail T Slepov, specialist in diagnostics of reactor facilities, PhD in Engineering Sciences (Nuclear Technology), practical experience in the nuclear industry is over 25 years (occupying positions from an engineer to the Head of Department). Currently, the Head of the Technical Diagnostics Department of the Novovoronezh Nuclear Plant, the participant of the first VVER-1200 power unit start-up. The author of more than 20 scientific papers.
