Currently works at the mathematics education faculty of sciences, Kibbutzim College of Education. She was the head of the mathematics department for 8 years and the coordinator at the educational television channel as well as the scientific consultant in this area. Now she is the head of the M.Ed. program in mathematics education and the M.Teach for high school. Her research interests are teacher education and teaching methods, math teaching and education, teaching and learning geometry, exploring students' mistakes and misconceptions in math and professional development of math teachers. Her current project is 'Geometry in 2-D & 3-D'. Atara Shriki is an Associate Professor in mathematics education (PhD). Currently works at the mathematics education faculty of sciences at the Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts and teaches undergraduate and graduate students. She headed two Ministry of Education programs: Equity in mathematics education and Reducing the gap between boys and girls in the study of mathematics and science, and served as head of research and evaluation in a unique R&D program funded by the Ministry of Science. Together with Prof Nitsa Movshovitz-Hadar, she wrote Logic in Wonderland: Introduction to Logic through reading Alice in Wonderland, both Teacher's Guidebook and Student's Workbook, published by World Scientific.
