En el prólogo, el escritor y dramaturgo Vicente Leñero apunta: Parece descabellado proferirlo de sopetón, pero a través del recuento de crímenes y asesinatos tanto de los ‘clásicos’ individuales como de los colectivos que nos sacuden por oleadas es posible narrar una crónica del país. Escribirla como un libro de texto que nos enchina la piel mientras nos hace abrir los ojos a la funesta realidad.
