Los administrativistas trabajan arduamente en la recuperación de la importancia del poder disciplinario’ como parte de la naturaleza administrativa del Derecho Disciplinario, lo cual hace vaticinar que la calidad del discurso jurídico en la materia aumentara cuantitativa y cualitativamente. La Carta Política establece subespecies de Derecho Disciplinario administrativo, judicial y político, la jurisprudencia constitucional ha señalado que el Derecho Disciplinario, cualquiera que fuere su modalidad, es uno mismo, y el derecho interno se ve compelido a consagrar instituciones que vienen tratados sobre derechos humanos o de lucha contra la corrupción, ámbitos ante los cuales una visión doméstica del poder disciplinario resultaría demasiado corta para su explicación, como también mostraría ingente debilidad frente a la protección de garantías y aseguramiento de eficacia y eficiencia en la lucha contra la corrupción. En Colombia, una visión meramente administrativa resultaría recortada o se dificultaría explicar adecuada y apropiadamente su inserción en un mundo cada vez más globalizado. Seguimos apostando por un Derecho Disciplinario autónomo e independiente, capaz de explicar todas sus manifestaciones.
