About the Author Hans Pedersen is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His research explores the conception of human agency developed in the phenomenological and existential traditions, particularly in the work of Martin Heidegger. Megan Altman is instructor of philosophy at Hiram College and a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of South Florida. Her research interests center around a phenomenological study of ethics, especially as it emerges in Martin Heidegger’s interpretation of Ancient Greek philosophy.
