About the Author Lester Embree (PhD, New School for Social Research, 1972) is William F. Dietrich Eminent Scholar in Philosophy, Florida Atlantic University. He was for 20 years President of the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology, Inc. and precipitated the founding of the Organization of Phenomenological Organizations, among other things.
