A Picture Of India

This is a photobook of India. Whilst there are many photobooks of this diverse and fascinating country, 'A Picture of India' tries to get beyond the tourist attractions to show through photo stories how India works. Each of the 162 images has an explanation of the context to give the reader a better understanding of the story in the photograph, together with photographer's notes which explain how the image was taken. It should whet the appetite of those who have yet to visit the country, provide a reminder and deeper understanding for those who have already been, and offer guidance and ideas to travel photographers.
