Description
In dit losbladige werk wordt een groot aantal technische verpleegkundige verstrekkingen stapsgewijs beschreven op maat van studenten. Ze zijn overlegd met ervaringsdeskundigen uit het werkveld en beroepsorganisaties. Elke stap wordt uitvoerig toegelicht met verklaringen en aandachtspunten opdat de studenten hun aandacht zouden richten op de correcte uitvoering van elke verstrekking en kritisch zouden leren nadenken over het waarom ervan. Het communicatieve aspect, dat essentieel is, wordt wel vermeld maar niet uitgediept.Bij een stappenplan hoort ook een checklist waarin de belangrijkste deelhandelingen staan opgesomd. Daarbij wordt duidelijk aangegeven welke deelhandelingen breekpunten zijn om tot een correct eindresultaat te komen. Deze checklists worden niet alleen gebruikt bij het inoefenen, maar ook tijdens de vaardigheidstoetsen. Daarom zijn bepaalde - toch wel belangrijke - aspecten die in een simulatie echter niet te realiseren zijn, niet als breekpunten opgenomen.Dit werk is tot stand gekomen dankzij de intensieve medewerking en het veelvuldige overleg tussen docenten en de medewerkers van het skillslab van Thomas More Kempen, Campus Lier en het St. Aloysius- instituut voor Verpleegkunde te Lier.De docenten en de medewerkers van het skillslab zijn dagelijks intensief bezig met het vaardigheidsonderwijs, in overleg met ervaringsdeskundigen uit het werkveld en beroepsorganisaties.
