Bestuursrecht in het Awb-tijdperk neemt de Algemene wet bestuursrecht (Awb) als vertrekpunt en geeft een complete inleiding op het uiterst interessante vakgebied van het bestuursrecht. Aan de hand van casusposities ontleend aan de rechtspraak passeren alle relevante thema's op compacte, toegankelijke en systematische wijze de revue. In deze uitgave zijn de meest recente ontwikkelingen in rechtspraak en wetgeving verwerkt. De auteurs zijn of waren verbonden aan de afdeling staats- en bestuursrecht van de Universiteit Leiden en hebben een brede ervaring in de rechtspraktijk. Alle actuele ontwikkelingen in het bestuursrecht zijn in deze nieuwe druk verwerkt. Zo is in het bestuursrecht veel aandacht voor het mensvriendelijker maken van het bestuursrecht, dat meer maatwerk zou moeten kunnen bieden. Daarnaast zijn recente ontwikkelingen verwerkt, zoals de inwerkingtreding van titel 4.5 Awb Awb – over nadeelcompensatie. Ook wordt al vooruitgekeken naar toekomstige wetgeving zoals de Wet versterking waarborgfunctie Awb en de Wet modernisering elektronisch bestuurlijk verkeer. Bestuursrecht in het Awb-tijdperk is vooral geschreven voor diegene die een eerste degelijke kennismaking wil met het bestuursrecht, met name in de bachelor fase Nederlands recht. De titel wordt ook gebruikt op diverse universiteiten en hogescholen bij vakken als Bestuursrecht, Bestuursprocesrecht en Staats- en Bestuursrecht.
