About the Author Jon M. Van Dyke† was Professor of Law at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii at Manoa since 1976 and a Global Ocean Fellow at Inha University, Incheon, Korea. His rich legacy of scholarship addresses issues related to ocean law and international environmental law. Sherry P. Broder is an attorney-at-law specializing in international law, environmental law, human rights, and complex civil litigation. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law. Seokwoo Lee is a Professor of International Law and Director of the Inha International Ocean Law Centre, at Inha University in Incheon, Korea. Jin-Hyun Paik has been a member of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea since 2009. He is also Professor of International Law at Seoul National University and was Dean of its Graduate School of International Studies.
