Product Description
A unique set of five Beksiński mini-albums in an elegant book case. This set is a special edition of bestselling albums featuring works by Zdzisław Beksiński, two of which were published during his lifetime with his cooperation. The collection includes selected works in painting, drawing, and computer graphics from the archives of the Historical Museum in Sanok and private collections. This set of five mini-albums offers a comprehensive selection of Zdzisław Beksiński’s artistic output: 1. First Album: Introduces viewers to some of the most important paintings by the acclaimed Polish visual arts visionary. It contains works from the period 1958-1999, including computer photo-montages. 2. Second Album: Presents the artist’s work created between 1970 and 2001, including pieces from the collections of his wife Zofia and son Tomasz, as well as computer collages. 3. Third Album: Consists of reproductions of less well-known and rarely published works. Among them are early drawings from the 1950s, reflecting the anxiety and contemporary state of the artist’s spirit during the period of deep communism. The album also showcases Beksiński’s abstract paintings and illustrates the development of his characteristic style. It includes works from the early 21st century, complementing the album. 4. Fourth Album: A collection of lesser-known reproductions from 1970-2004, providing the best testimony to the more than thirty-year-long, extremely prolific period of his work. 5. Fifth Album: The final album in the series presents a completely new selection of works by Zdzisław Beksiński. It includes previously unknown and unpublished reproductions of paintings and drawings from the Historical Museum in Sanok and private collections. The album is prefaced by Wiesław Banach, an expert on the artist’s work from Sanok.
