my ART: the good, the bad, the WACKY

Dear potential reader / watcher, let me be completely honest right off the bat: I've mainly created this thick, voluminous artbook for my self and my significant others in order to collect a large amount of paintings, illustrations, comics / snippets (mainly written in Norwegian), sketches and what not that I've created throughout the years in a single, neat volume - almost like a luxurious, personal photo album - rather than having all these hundreds of pieces scattered around anywhere, everywhere, and, eventually, nowhere. Hence, this book is not actually released with the intention of "showing off" my (often severely) imperfect doodles to any random person passing by. And speaking of people I don't personally know, at most, I guess it could be an interesting collection to look through for those of you who've read my novels and enjoy my authorly ramblings enough for you to also be curious about what else I've been filling my time with all these years, besides writing books. Therefore, if you for some inexplicable reason feel compelled to get this expensive, big block of finely cut and painted wood, then consider yourself warned :) Now, if you do decide to take the plunge, however, you surely are most welcome - and within these pages, you can expect to find: Acrylics and oil paintings Pastel and watercolor paintings Tons of illustrations / drawings with brush pen / pen / black ink - with or without colors Mixed media and images drawn with alcohol markers, etc. Graphite and colored pencil - as well as charcoal - drawings Illustrations and comics hand drawn digitally with a pen on a tablet or E-ink device, etc. Most of it is very rough around the edges, but here it is.. in all its imperfect, uh, "glory". Haha.
