Original tapes were restored by Dan Johnson of Audio Archiving Services, followed by a remastering process by Grammy Award winning engineer Michael Graves. The mixing was completed by Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios in early 2023, with final mastering by Pete Lyman of Infrasonic Studios. Since forming in Reno, Nevada, in 1980, 7Seconds has been a staple of the American underground music scene. Known for their positive messages and lyrics addressing social issues like racism, sexism, and homophobia, they helped shape the hardcore genre. This vinyl edition offers a high-quality way to listen to their influential sound.
