Dans le contexte du réchauffement climatique, le développement de matériaux photovoltaïques écologiques et performants constitue un enjeu majeur. Cette étude porte sur l’analyse théorique des propriétés électroniques, optiques et de transport des pérovskites doubles Cs₂SnI₆ à sites vacants, en tenant compte des effets de la déformation mécanique et de la substitution halogène. Les calculs ab initio montrent que le Cs₂SnI₆ est un semi-conducteur à bande interdite directe d’environ 1,26 eV, modulable sous contraintes de compression ou de traction. La compression améliore la mobilité des porteurs de charge, tandis que la traction la réduit. Par ailleurs, la substitution de l’iode par le brome dans Cs₂SnI₆₋ₓBrₓ augmente la bande interdite et améliore l’absorption optique dans le domaine visible. Les simulations photovoltaïques SCAPS-1D indiquent que Cs₂SnI₃Br₃ est un absorbeur prometteur, avec un rendement proche de 15 %, confirmant son potentiel pour des applications solaires écologiques.
