Das Werk Land, Schule und Inklusion: Die Neuheit im Marsch der MST entspricht einer Untersuchung, die der Studiengang Pädagogik der Erde, der den Aktivisten einer Reihe von sozialen Organisationen auf dem Land als Studienobjekt angeboten wird. Es handelt sich um eine vergleichende Analyse zweier emblematischer Erfahrungen im Prozess der Umsetzung dieser Ausbildungsform innerhalb des brasilianischen Hochschulwesens, nämlich der Lehramtsstudiengänge der UNIJUÍ und der Fakultät für Erziehungswissenschaften der Bundesuniversität von Goiás, die Meilensteine – den Anfang und das Ende – des ersten Jahrzehnts der Entwicklung eines Studiengangs mit dieser Besonderheit darstellen. Ziel ist es, darüber nachzudenken, wie die MST in den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten des 20. Jahrhunderts ihren Kampf für die Schulbildung der Landarbeiter geführt hat. Auf diese Weise lassen sich grundlegende Elemente für ein besseres Verständnis der Bedeutung dieses Kampfes für die Lage der Arbeiterklasse gewinnen, insbesondere in Bezug auf das Recht auf eine Schulbildung, die von einem Sinn für Universalität geprägt ist.
