Estructura financiera y crecimiento económico de las economías africanas en desarrollo; datos de las economías de Nigeria, Kenia y Sudáfrica. El problema concreto examinado en el estudio es la aparente falta de rendimiento de las economías del África subsahariana tras los esfuerzos concertados para mejorar la estructura financiera de estos países con la esperanza de aumentar el crecimiento. Los resultados, entre otros, muestran que la estructura financiera en BCPS, MC, LLR, TR y VTS no tenía una relación significativa con el PIB en las economías africanas en desarrollo seleccionadas. Sin embargo, el resultado descubrió además que no existía una relación significativa entre la estructura financiera y el crecimiento económico a partir del análisis de panel, tanto para los mínimos cuadrados generalizados como para los resultados de causalidad de granger. Así pues, el estudio concluye que la estructura financiera no tiene una relación significativa con el crecimiento económico en las economías africanas en desarrollo. De ahí que el estudio recomiende, entre otras cosas, que la estructura financiera sea respetuosa con el medio ambiente para facilitar el comercio y mejorar el nivel de participación de los inversores, impulsando así el índice de volumen de negocios y el crecimiento económico en general en las economías africanas en desarrollo seleccionadas.
