Im Bereich des Umweltingenieurwesens konzentrierte sich unsere Aufmerksamkeit auf die Frage, was die Natur durch Pflanzen und ihre Samen (in diesem Fall Moringa) für das Problem der Wasserverschmutzung im städtischen Umfeld in Angola, genauer gesagt in Luanda, tun kann. Das Hauptziel dieser Studie war die Verwendung von Moringa-Samen zur Behandlung von Abwässern aus Industrie und Haushalten. Der Test im Labor ergab gute Ergebnisse. Die Natur kann unwidersprochen viele Elemente bereitstellen, die zur Lösung städtischer sozioökologischer Probleme beitragen können.
