Нептуния олерасская (Neptunia oleracea Lour.) Син. Neptunia prostrata (Lam.) Изолированные фенольные соединения из водной мимозы демонстрируют многообещающую активность в отношении сжигания свободных радикалов DPPH и ингибирования α-глюкозидазы. По данным ВОЗ, около 80 % населения планеты используют растительные препараты в своей медицинской практике. Выращивание водной мимозы обеспечивает ежедневный доход, особенно в Северо-Восточной Индии.
